I think the main quality that draws me to Lirik is that he seems very honest and genuine when playing games and how he interacts with chat and donation messages. Sometimes he will turn it off when he feels there's important in-game dialogue. It's set an approriate volume level compared to his mic and game audio so it's not too bothersome. Lirik has an audio cue for new subs: a Morgan Freeman sound-a-like saying welcome. It has now become my biggest form of evening entertainment (his stream times are perfect for Europe), so I subbed.īefore that I wasn't into to streamers at all and I had the same narrowminded and negative stance a lot of GAFers still have towards streamers (as witnessed in the recent Summit thread). I got into Twitch in November last year, watching Lirik's stream. I'm not too familiar with the 'scene' yet.
